The AIGA Chicago Mentorship Program gives creatives from across disciplines a place to gather and share insights, experiences and resources. And, for the first time, Malt’s Jack Muldowney will host a Mentor Program group, with a focus on Being a Better Freelancer.

Jack’s segment of the mentor program will be held over the course of 11 weeks on Tuesday evenings, at Studio Malt at 325 N. Hoyne, beginning March 19, 2019. This series will cover everything from landing a first project to taking the leap full-time, as well as pricing, promotion, print vendors, process and more. The program will meet each week, alternating between the individual mentor groups (3/19, 4/2, 4/16, 4/30, 5/14), and AIGA Chicago’s all-group events open to all Spring 2019 participants (3/12, 3/26, 4/9, 4/23, 5/7, 5/21). Bookended by the kickoff event and wrap-up party, AIGA will also conduct studio tours, designer talks, workshops, and portfolio reviews.
